Do I Please God...

Do I Please God...

Man experiences chaos in his life through sickness, unemployment, rejection, resentments, and even conflicts from others.

He blames the entire world except himself. He even blames God for his predicaments and prays to Jesus to relieve him of all his difficulties in life.

There are still so many areas in my life that fail to please God. My temper and my pride are just some of them and I can't seem to control either one. Even though i offer my services to God, I am still not worthy of His grace. I stubbornly succumb to laziness, slanders, and sometimes envying others for their status, riches and power. I also fall into the trap of lust, not just for the opposite sex, but also for wealth, comfort, and prestige.

In my daily life, I lose hope everytime I encounter problems that seem to have no solution. I give up whenever im loaded at work which becomes so annoying that no amount of reasoning can ever change it anyway.

But I realize that losing hope means giving up everthing God has given me. With prayer, the Lord sends me a lifeline to keep me from falling into the trap of the evil one.

God continues to speak to us and relieve us of our difficulties sometimes or most of the time through other means, but we only want to see what we expect to see.

Let us believe in the love of Jesus, who always want the best for all of us. We need to be in constant communication in silence as we listen to God in our prayer time. Taking up our cross may be difficult but it is the only way, and if we follow Him close by, chances are, it may prove not to be as heavy as we might expect.

I can only thank God for sending me His messengers who listen to my concerns and weaknesses, and help me put order in my heart, mind and emotions.

Making decisions in Life will always be a challenge. Standing up for Him and holding on to the truths are our only source of guidance and strength..

thank you friends for visiting this post..have a blessed day !

ALL THAT IS RIGHT

ALL THAT IS RIGHT

We all want an easy life. We resent being in the the slow lane or finding ourselves having to go through stages. When I was younger, I was convinced that I should focus on being materially successful in life as my goal to be happy and complete. I started a family at a young age and worked hard to attain my goal.

When God started to call me and intervened in my life, initially I got confused, I did not know how to properly react. I thought I was so busy with my life that I do not have time to even respond. Praying alone just didn't feel good enough. I felt that I was stuck with faith like that of a little boy. There was a constant quest of becoming a better person inside of me and I didn't know how to achieve this. But God was so patient and persistent that He continued to touch my life and opened my eyes to his mercy and grace until such time that I said YES to His call to follow Him.

That decision to follow the Lord was the best that I have made in my life. Following and serving God is so fulfilling, it makes me complete. What a privelege to serve an awesome and loving God...May God be Praised!

Through It All

Through it all.. Yes We Can

Many things can hold us back, even things that we think we have forgotten or moved away from. Failed relationships, failed endeavors, sorrow, disappointment, addiction, and fear; all these things bind us, hold us down. We are contained by the things that we are allow to rule over us, either conciously or unconciously.

When we tell ourselves, "I can't", we in essence "Never will", because we allow those obstacles and chains of self-doubt and illusion to hold us down and bind us in place.

We are setting for a life of half-way blessings and mediocre joy. We are giving up. We believe the lie which tells us that we will never be more than our past, more than our weakness, more than our disappointment, more than what others think of us..

When we stop believing that we are bound to those things which are behind us, which exist in the minds of others, then we are free to walk boldly into our future. We are no longer the slaves of mediocrity and disappoinment. When we tell ourselves "Yes I Can", then we have taken the very step towards "I have".

Lets's bind ourselves to the Promise that we are infinitely blessed, that our lives are ordained for Good. Let us bind ourselves to the Hope, which comes in believing that we are loved by a Master Planner who nourishes us to grow bigger than we can ever imagine. Yes We Can...Have a Good One friends !
